Ok, I admit it. I am a Seth Godin fan and have really enjoyed his book and now I am hooked on his blog. Here is his blog (http://sethgodin.typepad.com/) and get ready to read some stuff you think is useless and then other days get that nugget you need to understand your next step leading your team. It is good stuff. Here is a great short post from this week…
Some people want to do things because they are interesting.
Some people want to do things because they work.
Some people want to do things because everyone else is doing them.
And some people are satisfied/scared/shy/lazy and don’t do anything.
Think about blogging or buying a new pair of shoes or voting for a candidate or picking one career over another. Different people have very different agendas. The key in understanding someone’s actions is understanding their agenda.

Hmm very thought provoking! I think I fall into a little of all those categories! haha
Oh, I have to tell you, Kassidy got in the car on Sunday after church and said, “That man from our old church said we’re going to dinner at his house.” I was like, “our OLD church?? Who was it?” (And I had JUST run into a man from our old church who is now going to Grace but I KNOW we’re not going to dinner at his house! LOL but it threw me off because my mind was still focused on him being there in the first place! LOL) So anyway, then it clicked, I said, “Michael Bayne? Is that who you talked to?” She said, “I think so, he has black hair”. I said, “Yeah, that’s Michael and we ARE going to dinner at his house, but he’s NOT from our old church.” And she said, “He’s NOT? Are you SURE?!” Uhhhh yeah, pretty sure LOL. Then she said, “Well he looks REALLY familiar, maybe he was supposed to go to our old church!”
So, there you go, Kassidy is creating your past! LOL
